Estimados, buenos días. La verdad no estoy conforme con la experiencia con el arriendo. Al momento de la recepción del auto revisamos que todo estaba funcionando OK y listo para partir el viaje pero en la mitad de mi estadía quedamos en panne en un parque nacional sin conexión ni ayuda por pérdida de aire en una rueda delantera (izquierda). Luego de llevar el auto de urgencia una vulcanización para solucionar esto, identificamos que un perno de la llanta estaba rodado y adicionalmente la rueda ya contaba con un parche interior el cual fue el causante de nuestra panne. En resumen, perdimos 2 días de nuestro viaje por una desprolijidad del auto que era imposible de identificar en la recepción (una reparación mal realizada del neumático previamente a nuestro arriendo y un perno rodado que afectó la reparación). Espero una compensación por parte de Europcar por los días perdidos y la mala experiencia.

The only complaint I have is that the tires were in just so and so condition and we ended up with a flat tire. Luckily it was close to the airport as there are no gas stations by the airport. The closest gas station is 1 hr away in Coyhaigue or 3.5 hrs in Puerto Rio Tranquilo. Europcar was excellent and covered the cost of the tire no questions asked.

Europcar have a useful, private car park at Balmaceda airport so that you can avoid paying parking charges. The car we rented was in good shape and did the job we wanted very well. The only issue they have is that the lines for picking up or returning cars can get a bit long when a flight has just arrived or is shortly to depart so give yourself plenty of time to complete these procedures.

Very good car and service from Europcar Balmaceda, friendly staff at the pickup counter in the airport terminal, staff also spoke little english wich was very helpful due to our limited spanish skills.

Europcar is amazing. We needed to change the drop off location from Balmaceda to Coyhaique and they were totally fine with it and added no extra charge for the site change. Also, this is completely an aside, but my friend lost her passport when she arrived in Chile and didn't have an address to have her new one sent to. Europcar allowed her to use their address to have her passport sent to and held it for her until she could come back and pick it up. Amazing customer service, above and beyond!
