You can walk to the counter of MEX - Mexico City Airport Terminal 1 car rental.

Thank you for choosing Mex Rent a Car, after collecting your luggage, please identify the following the nearest gate and follow the next instructions: Terminal 1 Gate 2 (domestic arrivals): After the baggage claim area there are 3 exits. The first will take you to Gate 1, if you arrive at gate 1, you can walk to the right outside the airport, and enter Gate 2, and you will see Mex Rent a Car on the right side. The second and third exits after the baggage claim area will take you to an aisle with some transportation counters, keep walking and after passing this aisle you will see Mex Rent a Car office on the left side, near a gift shop. Terminal 1 Gate 8 (international arrivals): After the baggage claim area, usually the exit that is open will take you directly to Mex Rent a Car office, which you will identify on Gate 8. However, sometimes, there is another exit available, which takes you to Gate 7. If you exit through this side, as soon as you exit the baggage claim area you will see other car rental companies and you should walk to the right where the BBVA bank is located. When you arrive at BBVA you will see Mex Rent a Car against the corner of the bank.
