Original driving licence + IDP ( issued under the 1949 Convention)
It is required to carry the original IDP issued by a government-authorized agency in the version of the 1949 convention, in the A6-sized booklet paper format, and the number of seats of the rented vehicle should comply with the driving category authorized by the IDP.
*Driver's license, passport, and IDP must be issued in the same country.
Official Japanese translations can be obtained from the following institutions: 1. Embassies and consulates located in Japan, 2. Japan Automobile Federation (JAF) offices. For customers from Taiwan: Official translations may also be obtained from the Motor Vehicles Offices in Taiwan.
