    Bergamo

    10 /10 Excellent

Service overall was pretty good. The only awkward part was at pickup—because I didn’t buy their insurance, the staff member seemed a bit unhappy, and their English wasn’t great either. When I returned the car though, both the guy who checked the car and the counter staff were super friendly. The deposit refund was insanely fast: as soon as they finished the inspection, the money was back. Since I didn’t take the rental company’s insurance, I had to leave a deposit of about €1,500 in total—around €150 as a fuel deposit and the remaining €1,300 as a pre-authorization for potential damage to the car.

Vehicle was clean and in good condition. Winter tires were in the car as promised. Check in was quick and without any unexpected things. Counter staff explained everything to me. It was quick. Paid 1400 eur deposit from credit card. It was released right after drop off. Brought back with less fuel(forgot to put fuel before arrival), and it was ok me to pay the fuel difference. Drop off was quick also, staff was very helpfull. Then they drive us to the airport. It was first time I rented a car in Italy. And I saw too many very bad experience reviews from others for other rent companies. But then I discovered Centauro with good reviews. And now from my own experience I would 100% recommend this company. Reasonable price and good quality car and service.

    8 /10 Very good

    Reviewed: Saturday, June 15, 2024

It was okay, I rented from them again later for a few more days. The car I got was covered in scratches, probably because it was due for repairs, but I insisted on using the Lynk & Co 01 that I'm used to. Extending the rental wasn't very convenient, as you have to apply and wait for a long time to communicate. Additionally, due to language issues, English proficiency is limited in many countries, so it's best to avoid needing any in-person communication. The fuel deposit the rental company charges is also quite confusing.

The process of pick up was convenient and quick. The personal was friendly and nice. Office was far from airport (about 10-15 min) than we expected. Was shuttle, but we spent many time to find it because there was any pointer. The shuttle driver was very nice to. Deposit for petrol was refunded within 1 day.
