Suspected fraud. The advertised model was a hybrid car, but the actual car provided was the oldest model. The entire vehicle had no USB ports or cruise control, making driving very tiring. Previously, rental companies like Times only charged 300 yen for an ETC card, but this company demanded a 10% toll service fee along with 10,000 yen upfront. After negotiating, they still charged 2,000 yen. I've rented cars in Japan more than a dozen times, and this was by far the worst experience. Initially, I wanted to support this car rental company, believing it was operated by Chinese individuals and offered hybrid cars, even though the rental price was slightly higher. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a disappointment. Japanese car navigation systems are usually very user-friendly—just input the phone number, with Chinese voice prompts and a Chinese interface. However, the navigation system in this vehicle was entirely in Japanese, outdated, and silent. I had to use my phone for navigation throughout the trip. That said, although the car was old and worn, it was reliable and took us over 2,000 kilometers. I am grateful to this little car for that.
