When picking up the car, they gave me a different model and said the one I selected was unavailable. I said I wouldn't accept it, then they ignored me and made me wait. Later, they said they had it but it would take half an hour.

There are two reasons for my dissatisfaction: First, in Hua Hin, the vehicle needed assistance due to a discrepancy between the navigation system and actual road conditions. Neither the local police nor the car rental company could provide help. Second, the staff's ability to describe the drop-off location was poor.

We arrived at the car rental office a little after 9 PM and waited for over an hour. Meanwhile, the nearby Yesaway had already processed three or four groups. We were still waiting. We asked the staff if we could extend the return time from 4 PM to 5 PM, but they refused, citing that the downtown office closes at 4 PM. However, we later saw in the contract that the downtown office actually closes at 5:30 PM. The staff were very irresponsible.

The reception desk was easy to find, and the staff appeared promptly. We arrived a bit early, and since it was midnight, there was no one to assist us initially. However, right at 12:30, someone came to help us. Overall, the efficiency was acceptable.

The car pickup process was fine, but when I went to return the car at the agreed time and place, there was no staff to assist us. We couldn't get through on the phone, and when we finally did, they were extremely unhelpful and told us to wait. After an hour, they instructed us to leave the car in the parking lot and the keys at the front desk, without completing any formalities. After returning home, I received a call demanding I pay for the parking fee. Even though 200 baht isn’t much, it felt very unreasonable. Overall, it was a very unsatisfactory car rental experience. I would advise against renting from Thai Rent.
