Super satisfied, the whole drive was a blast.

This is a pretty new rental company and their prices are really low, which is putting a lot of pressure on the big established brands.

Picked the car up about half an hour early and the staff guy was really friendly and helpful.

It was okay overall, nothing special but nothing really bad either.

Paid for full coverage on the spot so I didn’t have to leave the €1300 deposit, which was great — drove totally worry-free. They even upgraded the car to a brand-new SUV for free, it only had about 200km on it. The semi-automatic hybrid was super economical, only around 6L per 100km on the highway.

Great service, especially reminding us to cover our luggage when we parked.

Service was pretty professional, the car was very new, and both pickup and return were really convenient.

The car looked great with the drive branding on site, and it was really clean. The only thing is the fuel gauge was at about 7/8 when I picked it up, so it’s hard to know how much to refill. I ended up putting in more than needed—topping it off seems to be the norm.

Really solid big company, this is already my third time with them.

Overall it was pretty good.

Booked a Honda City but they upgraded me for free to a Hyundai KONA (2.0, 7‑speed). Drove it in sport mode up to the sacred mountain and it was seriously punchy, easy to keep up with the local Malaysian drivers. Totally changed how I think about Hyundai.

The front desk staff at Alamo were really nice, and both agents who helped us were very friendly and welcoming.

Small local rental company – if you’re hoping for a free upgrade, this isn’t the place, their lot only has cars in the same class. We booked a Tiguan (or similar) and even though there were several Tiguans still in the lot, they gave us a Hyundai Tucson instead, so I seriously doubt they pay attention to the exact model on the booking. That said, the car itself was almost brand new, a 2025 model with ACC, lane-keeping and other features, so it was great to drive on the highway. Before returning the car we spent €5 at a self-service wash just to rinse off the exterior, and even though we didn’t fill the tank all the way until it clicked, it was at about 92% and they still refunded the fuel deposit without any issues.
