The main driver and any additional drivers must provide a full physical driving licence with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 1-2 year(s).

The translation of the driver's license certified by the Australian Translation and Accreditation Institute (NAATI) can be used to rent a car and drive in Australia.

If you're holding local driver's license, and this is your first time renting with Eastcoast and you reside within 150 km of pickup location, please provide a utility bill(dated within the last three months), like electricity, gas, water, rates, phone, or internet bills,as proof of address. Please ensure the address on the utility bill matches the one on your licence.

Rental cars can only be driven on sealed/bitumen or well maintained roads. Vehicles are not to be taken above the snow line. Not allow to drive between mainland Australia and Tasmania in either direction or into or out of the Northern Territory or Western Australia; Excluded from the protection is on the ferry or driving on beaches or through streams, dams, rivers or flood water. Please note, any vehicle towing or recovery costs incurred while located on any of the islands and locations listed above will be at the Customer’s expense and we are unable to guarantee the provision of a replacement vehicle.

The trip and the vehicle was excellent but the East coast Rental question me about where I paid money too. Even now they contact me that they are having an investigation upon my rental. They said that if they won't get their money from you guys they will charge my credit card with a full amount of $300+. If you could please sorted it out. Thanks

The supplier's service attitude is very good. After coming out of Brisbane Airport, go down at the gap in the middle of the overpass near the international terminal, and call for pickup at the red A1 sign. It is convenient at the Gold Coast, there is a gas station nearby. Also, remember that Brisbane has toll highways that you need to pay for online.

After arriving at Brisbane Airport, call the rental company. Following their instructions, walk to A1 near the BUS stop. About 10 minutes later, a SHUTTLE will pick you up and take you to the branch to get your car.

The car was in good condition and fuel-efficient. The only inconvenience is that you can't pick up the car at the airport; you need to get picked up by their shuttle, which is why their rental prices are cheaper. The staff was very responsible, but it took about an hour to fill out forms and inspect the car during the first pickup, which in retrospect seemed unnecessary. Returning the car was very convenient; the staff just walked around the car and it was done. Perhaps we were overly cautious.
