The Mas by Mex - Cancun Airport car rental location is located out of the airport

After collecting your luggage, please proceed to the car rental area where you will find the Mex Rent A Car booth. A uniformed Mex Rent A Car agent will arrange the shuttle to pick you up and drive you to our main office to collect your vehicle. Shuttles are blue with the Mex Rent A Car logo. Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers must provide a full physical driving licence with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 1 year(s).

For foreign renters, you need to bring:

I had to wait 1.5 hours to pickup the car. There was only one person ahead of me in line. They did not have my rental at pickup time. They told me to come back in 4 hours. They told me to call customer service and it was closed. I could not get a refund. After waiting an hour, they said they had a car. The sales rep at the counter, did the hard sell for every possible additional coverage. They want you to sign everything before they show you a copy of anything.
