The staff was a foreigner who couldn't speak English but spoke Japanese, which was quite interesting. The car was a bit old and struggled slightly while driving in the mountains of Yamanashi. Next time, I will choose a car with more horsepower.

Excellent customer service
Though the van itself had issues and had to be replace midway through our trip, the customer service at M7 was excellent. When we first picked up our van, Gus offered us umbrellas to use throughout out rental time in case of rain. Then when we had car trouble he took responsibility for it and replace our van with a new one the next morning. Gus was excellent to work with.

Awful experience with both QEEQ and M7 rent a car
The car was in pretty terrible condition. The engine light was on (we were told they recently replaced it and didn't have time to reset the settings). The gas was only a 1/4 full (though they initially told us it was full). The AV system did not work. The location was incredibly difficult to find (it was listed as "in terminal" pickup, but ended up being 20min away at some random place that did not have an office or sign). The only saving grace was that the associates who worked there were easy to communicate with and accommodated picking up the car at the airport (as was originally advertised on QEEQ).
