I rented a car from this company and extended the rental twice. During the first pickup, the female staff at the front desk was very friendly and professional, providing a car in excellent condition. The second extension was smooth as well, and I kept the same car. However, during the third extension, the front desk staff was an older gentleman who insisted on giving me a different car. It took over 20 minutes to switch to a car with less-than-ideal condition. On the third day of driving, the car's battery died after parking for two hours near the Acropolis. I contacted the rental company, and they sent someone (on a motorcycle) to jump-start the car. I immediately requested a battery replacement or a different car. After driving to the rental company's location near the airport, their technician claimed that the battery issue was my fault and asked me to pay for the replacement. After a 20-minute discussion during which my group strongly insisted, the company replaced the battery (which took only five minutes), and the car worked fine thereafter. Returning the car was the most tedious process I've ever experienced—various inspections were done repeatedly, causing the return process to take about 30 minutes. Overall, my experience was good, but there were issues with the attitude and methods of certain staff members.

The Lancia Ypsilon's interior layout is unconventional, which makes the dashboard, speedometer and other controls not very functional for the driver. I also found that the Surprice staff examined each car's condition with a magnifying glass, so to speak, compared to the other Greek car rental companies I've used, which seem unconcerned about minor scratches etc.
