Renting a car abroad was a great experience!

Excellent service by the staff in Heraklion; they delivered the car to our hotel. Unfortunately the vehicle was not so good; air conditioning barely worked and the vehicle was very tired, should be replaced by a newer model.

I rented a Suzuki Swift or similar and got the Hyundai I10. It's a smaller car than it was supposed to be.

We rented a car for 8 days - on the final day it broke down we wasted probably in total around 3 hours of our day waiting for breakdown help then ultimately help from Surprice , completely spoiled our last day and meant that my partner was unable to visit the grave of a recently deceased relative which we intended to do on our way back to the airport and caused a lot of anxiety that we may miss our plane . We have graded counter staff as poor as there was no sympathy / empathy or apology - no offer to refund all or part of the rental fee and the experience has caused a lot of distress
