The staff at the airport provided me with a brand-new hybrid Volkswagen Golf, with only 10km on the odometer and the scent of new leather. The VW Golf performs excellently, offering a smooth driving experience and great fuel efficiency. There were three of us in total, and the trunk accommodated one medium-sized and one small suitcase, while a medium suitcase was placed on the back seat. Europcar employees routinely ask whether insurance is needed; I informed them that I had already purchased insurance through a third-party rental platform, and they were fine with it.

They actual car's performance was below expectations. Terrible to drive, difficult to park, as there are very limited features in this GM. Previously I had been given a T-Cross, and another time a Kasqar with the same booking. Both cars a dream to drive. Rather NO GM for me again! Thanks

The car rental company provided very poor service. They charged a deposit of 675 euros for the car, and even though I returned the car in perfect condition with no issues during the inspection, they kept my deposit after I returned home. When I contacted the company, they claimed the car was lost and that I was responsible. Absolutely ridiculous! I am flying to the Netherlands next month on business and will take the police to their office to resolve this. I am determined to pursue this matter to the end.

The car was great but smelled very badly of stale cigarette smoke from one of the previous renters. This was confirmed by the Europcar staff at the dropoff location. This really affected our enjoyment of the car as our clothes and belongings started to stink of smoke too.

Car did exceed my expectations, very nice little car and fuel efficient too. Staff were very helpful!
