The airport pick up took much longer than expected, the van was alright- exactly what we needed in terms of space. The return process was hindered by the massive blizzard, but the customer service offered by AVR when trying to coordinate our drop off was great. Andrew (from AVR) really worked with us to help us return the car and allowed us to park it at the airport since AVR was inaccessible by road due to snow.

Would not listen to me. Insisted I didn’t prepay. Forced to pay for a tank of gas before we could get the van.

Booking was easy. Only problem was in the office

The van front break was very bad condition. I suspect a transmission problem since its producing a wearied noise on the lower gears.

Everything went well as expected. Good value for the money through easy car rental.

There were no SUVs even though I had paid a deposit for an SUV; they were telling everyone who was picking up their car that "only minivans" are available. The staff was beyond rude and completely unsympathetic, with a "take it or leave it" attitude. The AVR facility was nowhere near the airport and we had to take two shuttles to get to that facility from Midway. I will never rent from AVR again.
