Will NEVER again do business with Budget-Avis

Everything was running smoothly until you return your car. The staff didn't informed us that we had the right to request a Budget staff to counter-check again, the car condition during collection & collect an inspection chit from them before driving off. Upon returning, they found a small scratch above the side window near the car roof & asked me whether I had any "inspection chit" during car collection & I said "No". INLn the returning document, they wrote "everything is returned as it is" & didn't gave me any copy of the documents or acknowledgements that everything is okay. A few days later, an email notifying me that a damaged bill was charged into my credit card. When I requested for further details, they just replied you with an email stating "It's all in the T&C. Please refer to it" ... After that, they have not replied to any of my emails seeking further enquiries & explanations of my situation. A very dissatisfied return indeed.

Easy to use and convenient.

No issue with Budget

The car was good and the model also smooth running and dignified and when driving people liked it and commented on its beauty and stylish

The car was brand new but overheated and left us stranded. In South Africa thats a serious position to be in. Customer service at budget took more than an hour to get back to us with a plan. They came and picked up the car and we never heard from them again!

Like: Budget staff were excellent, even when picking up the car around 5 in the morning, and were friendly and efficient. I had to extend the rental for an extra 2 days and was done in minutes at a branch in another province.
Dislike: 1. I was billed prior to receiving an invoice. 2. Billed for 2.5 litres of petrol even when filling up at the Airport.
