Renting a car was very convenient. Although the rental location is not inside the airport, there is a shuttle bus from Christchurch Airport's Gate 4. After calling, it only took about 10 minutes for the shuttle to arrive, which was very convenient. The rental process was quick as long as you completed online check-in in advance. On-site, you only needed to confirm a few details. It was raining heavily that day, and the staff at the rental office kindly drove the car to the front door for us. Our own phone mount was not sticky enough to use, but the staff generously gave us one for free. The overall experience was excellent. Another highlight was the one-way rental. We picked up the car in Christchurch and returned it in Queenstown. The Queenstown branch is near the airport, and during business hours, you can even take a complimentary shuttle back to the airport after returning the car. Overall, the experience was amazing. If you are experienced, self-driving in New Zealand is truly incredible because the best views in NZ are not in the attractions but on the roads. There are many small turn-offs along the way where you can stop temporarily to admire the mountains, snow-capped peaks, lakes, grasslands, and flocks of sheep and cattle.

The service attitude was excellent. The shuttle location was clearly indicated, and the staff was very friendly when we called the company. The vehicle was in great condition, and the inspection was meticulously conducted. All wear and tear were documented on the computer, and there was absolutely no upselling—truly outstanding service.

The service attitude was excellent. Our English is not very good, but the staff patiently explained and communicated with us! The procedures for picking up and returning the car were very simple.

The car was relatively new and the staff were decent, so overall I was satisfied. However, the return time was originally booked for 8 PM, and there was a 50 yuan charge for returning the car outside of working hours. Due to schedule changes, I returned it before 5 PM. QEEQ had previously stated that early returns would not result in refunds, which I hadn't noticed. But the store clerk wrote 5:05 on the final invoice (when I returned the car, handed over the keys, and was told it was fine since it was close to their closing time; they then sent us to the airport via shuttle bus). Later, I received the invoice via email and saw the recorded time as 5:05. The agreement terms were followed, and I have no objection to sticking to the contract even if the money isn't refunded. However, the way they documented it still feels slightly uncomfortable to me.

Pick-up and drop-off were very straightforward. There was no pressure to purchase insurance, and I only paid 10 NZD for a toll pass, which is useful as some roads charge tolls. With the pass, you don't have to pay manually. This is quite essential. Additionally, in New Zealand, many parking lots require you to immediately input your vehicle information at a payment machine or via an app after parking. Do not wait until you're leaving, as even during free time periods, you may be fined.

The rental store is located at Auckland's Old Railway Station, which is very easy to find with navigation. It's about a 10-minute walk from the CBD. The staff at the store were friendly and provided clear instructions.

Really love this car! It's super cool, very new, and most importantly, it's incredibly easy to drive. The steering wheel is very light. I'm thinking of switching to a RAV4 after returning to my country.

The staff are very friendly just that you'll be forced to buy add-ons to at least reduce the deposit amount by half.
