After leaving the airport, there wasn't a separate Payless counter. Upon carefully checking the pickup details, I found out I needed to go to the Budget counter—they seem to be part of the same company. The shuttle bus took us to the pickup location, where we lined up to complete the registration process. There was absolutely no pressure to purchase additional insurance. After some routine procedures, I received a brand-new Kia equipped with CarPlay but no rearview camera or parking sensors. However, I adjusted quickly. Returning the car was also very convenient. Overall, a great experience—highly recommended!

Bag of high value got stolen - bad experience
Car was in good condition and service was friendly. BUT. We forgot a bag under the passenger seat with something very valuable and after we let the car rental company know and met them again to inspect the car it was gone. Pretty sure someone from the service / cleaning took the bag. Manager was very helpful and understanding tho.

The same company, in Mexico City there were no cars available, so they gave us a manual Nissan. If we wanted to upgrade to an SUV, it would cost extra. In Cancun, there were no cars either, but they gave us a Tiguan directly—top-notch experience!

Third car worked out fine
It took us 3 cars until we could actually use one. The first one was full of smoke smell and was worse than an ashtray. The second car, we took off the lot, but then 2 km down the road, the low tire pressure warning light came on, so we had to return. Finally we got a third car that was ok. However this entire process took us more than an hour and so used part of our holiday time until we could get a working car.

They examined the car with a microscope on returning the car and charged me 240 Euro for 2 small scratches on the Front and rear bumpers that I'm not sure didn't not exist on pickup
