This company is a scam and an absolute nightmare—everyone, avoid renting from them at all costs! I rented a car from August 10 to August 19, 2024, and had to pay a $300 deposit for possible traffic violations when picking up the car. I waited over three hours to get the vehicle under the pretext that the car was being cleaned. The car I received was not the one I originally reserved; instead, it was a Hyundai Santa Fe. On the day of return, I accidentally bumped the rear bumper while reversing. The rental company first proposed a private settlement to cover the repair with $300—without providing a receipt. After consulting with my third-party rental platform, I refused their proposition. The company then charged $500 (with a receipt) as an advance payment for repairs, promising to refund or collect additional fees based on the actual costs. From that moment, the scam began. They only produced a traffic violation ticket (around $15) and a company-issued payment note stating the repair cost was $900 and demanded another $100 from me. However, no detailed repair invoice was provided. According to rental company practices, repair costs under 600 euros are the renter’s responsibility, while costs exceeding that amount are covered by the company's insurance. They should have reimbursed me for repair expenses over 600 euros. By February 2025, the company refused to refund any part of the $800 paid, claiming that I failed to notify them of the incident immediately after it occurred. This showed their true malicious intentions—they never intended to return even the initial $300 reserved for traffic violations. This company falsely claims to be an international corporation. I sincerely urge everyone to avoid renting from this company. I've interacted with many businesses in Uzbekistan, and while they are very business-savvy, their practices are generally within reasonable limits for both parties. This company, however, can only be described as outright evil.
There was no one at the airport rental counter, had to call to find the rental company staff. Instead of authorizing on the credit card, they directly deducted over $300 as a deposit, which caused later issues when the company denied refunding the deposit. It's been over two months since returning the car. The company confirmed one and a half months ago that the deposit could be refunded, but the money hasn't been returned to my account. Customer service said two weeks ago that the company had transferred the money, but today they changed their statement, saying the transfer was made just yesterday. The car rental company does not provide proof of the transfer. Overall, it has been over two months since returning the car and the deposit is still not refunded. Their responses are contradictory, and there seems to be some dishonesty involved. Another detail, the car inspection on return was the most meticulous I've ever seen, as if they were using a magnifying glass. This does not feel like the style of an international chain but more like a small local business. Tips: This company requires you to wash the car before returning it, otherwise, you have to pay ten dollars for the service. I do not recommend renting from this company in Uzbekistan, the experience was extremely poor.
They do not follow international standards. I have rented cars all over the world and the standard is that the company washes the car after the customer returns it and that the hold placed on the customers card is immediately lifted.
This branch sucked though! They charged me extra money for not washing the car before I returned it. What kind of business model is this?! Terrible! They also informed me that I would have to wait 25-30 days for the hold on my card to be lifted. This causes me many problems as that decreases my available credit limit. Terrible!
The car rental company is located right at the airport exit, making it easy to find. The customer service during pickup was good, and they patiently explained various points to note, although it did take quite a bit of time. When returning the car, we notified customer service in advance, but we still waited a long time in the parking lot. Someone showed up to inspect the car without wearing a uniform or identification badge. Later, another person spent a long time inspecting the car and couldn't find any issues but insisted that there were signs of usage and charged us a $10 cleaning fee. They did not provide any receipt for the payment. We had already cleaned the car before returning it.
