PRAGUE CAR RENTAL REVIEWS

It was my first time renting from this company, which I believe is a local Czech company. The rental price was very reasonable, and they even provided a highway vignette for Czech roads (you'll need to buy one separately if crossing into Austria or other countries). There was no pressure to purchase extra insurance or other hidden charges. The deposit of 25,000 Czech koruna was released on the afternoon of the return day.

The car I received was a bit old, with 160,000 kilometers on it. It didn’t have a screen, CarPlay, or a rearview camera. Luckily, I purchased full insurance, so reversing was a matter of luck.

When renting the car, they strongly recommended purchasing full insurance from them, but I insisted I already bought it through the rental platform, and they immediately proceeded to provide the car. I was lucky to get a Toyota hybrid vehicle this time, which saved me a lot on fuel costs. Returning the car was surprisingly easy; it only required entering the parking lot and using an automated camera to scan the car, and the return process was complete without any staff physically inspecting the car at pickup or return. About a week later, the full deposit was refunded—very trustworthy.

They gave me a three-month-old car, which absolutely amazed me considering the price. Initially, they tried to sell me insurance, but when I told them I had already bought it, they stopped talking about it. They even included the highway toll fee within the Czech Republic.

No waiting in line. The staff was very friendly, and we had a pleasant chat. I had read earlier about staff pushing insurance on customers, but the attendant was nothing like that. He was very patient and helped resolve my issues.
