I am really very satisfied. The communication was smooth and they were very friendly. They even used WhatsApp to tell me how to get in touch if I needed anything after picking up the car. The car was very new, with only 3000 kilometers on it, and very fuel-efficient. It was easy to drive, making my travel experience excellent.

The staff was extremely helpful and nice, but they charged us a 190 Pesos cleaning fee (they wanted to charge 300, but since I had taken the vehicle to a car wash and objected, they reduced it to 190). Since they insisted to pay in cash and did not issue me any receipt, I doubt this fee is not legitimate. Moreover, it is not specified in the rental agreement
Renting a car in the Philippines (Manila) is an extremely terrible experience. Avoid renting a car here at all costs. The city has some of the most corrupt police officers, chaotic traffic systems, countless two-wheeled and three-wheeled motorcycles darting everywhere, beggars at every intersection, and no clear reminder of the return point location. Everything here is very driver-unfriendly.
Our flight was delayed, but there was a guy at the exit waiting for us. When returning the car, I arrived early and had to wait 40 minutes because they weren't open yet, but they still came before my scheduled time. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the service.
The rental service was actually handled by Europcar. The staff at the rental desk were unprofessional; they did not complete the necessary paperwork during pickup, including failing to document the vehicle's condition. When returning the car, the staff there were completely unaware of the situation. Fortunately, I had recorded videos, taken photos, and made audio recordings to avoid disputes. They charged a deposit of 10,000 pesos, which would be refunded only after 3-4 weeks!
In addition to credit and debit cards, you can now pay for online car rentals with cryptocurrency! Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) are accepted. Curious about how long a Bitcoin transaction takes or how to pay with Bitcoin? Read our FAQs for more details.
