Apex, a budget brand under AVIS, offered excellent value. The car was in good condition with nearly 30,000 kilometers on it. I drove around 1,600 kilometers in Tasmania, including Wellington Mountain, Bruny Island, Stanley in the north, and Wineglass Bay in the east. There was no mileage restriction, and the best part was that they provided child seats for free.

The car was an MG HS model, which is not similar the a Mitsubishi Outlander. It was the worst car I've ever driven. It was lacking in power and the gearbox was poorly mated to the engine, causing it to continuously hunt through the gears. The centre screen occasionally rebooted while driving and was also slow to load. The foot pedals were positioned too far to the left making it actually a little dangerous to drive. Was not happy with this vehicle. Also the photos that Apex supplied of the vehicle condition were of a poor standard. Many existing dints were not visible. Had to upload my own.

It was fine.

Car was fantastic, everything needed for the trip. never missed a beat.

Never used it before, but had no issues. Worked well, got what i wanted at a fair price.

We got Hyundai IMAX instead of Kia carnival, the car power is very slow could not speed up. The only problem is with the car. The rest is all awesome.

Although there is no Apex counter at the Hobart airport, the lady was quick to pick us up when called, very friendly.
