The Provided Location was Totally wrong. I didn’t find any sign of Rental company in said location.

After a rather terrible experience with one of the larger name car rental companies, I had some concerns about getting another. Luck transpired to provide Discount Car & Truck Rentals - while a ridiculously low price (around ~£150 less than the nearest big name company for the same class of vehicle) usually means some kind of lacking in customer service, they were absolutely perfect all the way through. No trouble on pick-up/drop-off, flawless documentation of prior damage, I'm almost certain they let me off the fee for cross-border transit and were even kind enough to drive me back to the bus-stop with a side trip to the supermarket to pick up supplies for my ex-pat colleagues back home. If I am ever in need of a motor in an area that this company covers (Canada and Northern US states), I will for sure without question use them again.

Easier to use than some other car comparison sites. Some variation between the terms and conditions supplied by Easyrentcars.com and Third Party site - particularly regarding transit fees, mileage and international documentation requirements. Worked in my favour but just to say be sure to double check.

Wait time for pick up from airport was far too long, company wouldn’t answer phone so shuttle bus never came, waited for over 1hr before eventually sending a bus not big enough to fit everyone who was waiting

Over all great but price is too much. No GPS.

I have sent this email to discount customer service: Dear Sir/Madam Here I would like to make my complaint about a service which I have received this week. I had reserved an economy car for my trip, alone, to Ottawa from Montreal, almost 10 days sooner to be sure about having a suitable car. Unfortunately, after going to your west downtown branch (Guy street), they told me that the car is not available and I have to go to the downtown branch. So, I went there together with one of the Discount employees. But, what they gave me was a big Jeep car and they said that there is no other option for me and if I do not agree I can cancel the contract. Since I had to go to Ottawa, I had no other choice and I accept that car. But during my trip, I found out the car had lots of mechanical problems and its steering wheel vibrated when the speed reached to 100 km/h. I also paid for 50 litres gas which for a 400 km trip for a single person is really too much.  Finally, when I returned the car and made my complaints to the downtown office, they said that there is no way to compensate for this inconvenience and I left there without any clear answer. Here I should say that I am really disappointed by this service and more because of the way your employees faced with me. I also left a voice message to your customer service but I have not received any response yet. By the way, I hope that I would receive a reasonable response from your side about this issue.  For your information, my contract number was 5060024004. Waiting for your soonest response. Regards

The staff welcomin gme was extremely helpful, and upgraded me in order to ensure that a small error on the part of DISCOUNT Location (the adress in the voucher was not the one for the actual car pick up) did not require me to spend time travellin gto the other rental station
