The service was very friendly, and the procedures were handled efficiently.

When I picked up the car, there was only half a tank of fuel. The staff told me to return it with the same amount. When I returned it, there was even more than half a tank, and the staff said it was fine. However, they later charged me $110 for not refilling the tank completely! I sent multiple emails to the rental company and they only replied that they would handle it, but it's been almost 10 days with no update! I have to keep sending emails; the service is terrible.

Affordable prices.

The rental office is not inside the airport, but the shuttle service was prompt, arriving within 10 minutes after a call. However, since we were new to Melbourne, it took us some time to find the pickup point. The car was very new, with just over 6000 kilometers on it, and it was very easy to drive. On our way back to the airport, other renters informed us that we needed to register on the local traffic website to pay toll fees, but the rental company did not provide this information when we picked up or returned the car. We had to resolve it ourselves and risked fines if it wasn’t addressed in time. The rental company didn’t assist with this, which was very inconvenient for foreigners. We called them again for confirmation and support but received no callback. After returning to our home country, we managed to resolve it through the rental company.

have a business and wanted to try an independent provider to compare with the big providers. Other then the short wait for transport to an offsite location from the airport, the service and vehicle were at the same standard as the big provider just at a better price. Will be having staff use East Coast more often.
