There was only one person handling the paperwork at the counter. They were very thorough, but increasing efficiency a bit would make it perfect.

It was probably because it was early and not crowded. Getting the car was smooth, and the staff were clear and efficient.

Picking up the car was very convenient, right next to the airport with no obstacles. When returning the car, there were staff waiting in the parking lot. As soon as they saw us pull in, they approached us, checked the car and fuel, and let us go. Very convenient. The car we rented was different from the one we booked, but since the order mentioned 'or similar', it wasn't an issue.

Picked up the car at Launceston Airport. On the third day, the car lost power on the way to Cradle Mountain. Since there was no cell signal in the mountains, we couldn't call for help. Fortunately, a passerby helped us call for assistance. We waited at the spot for over two hours, then got towed to Davenport where we got a free upgrade for the replacement car. It took four to five hours in total. The exaggerated part is they charged us extra after returning the car, and only acknowledged it after we queried the details through the bank.
