Picking up, using, and returning the car was very convenient. I recommend buying insurance at the rental location. I booked a Citroën but received an Opel, which was stable even at 160 km/h on the highway. The car had some scratches, but they informed me beforehand. I just handed over the keys when returning.

The car provided by the Vienna main train station branch had a chip in the windshield. It is irresponsible to assign such a vehicle with safety hazards to a customer renting for 11 days. As expected, the windshield began to crack after one day of driving, and it got progressively worse, forcing us to replace the car in Innsbruck. The replacement car had seat safety issues, causing a one-day delay in our entire trip.

They informed me there were no cars available and gave me an old car of a completely different class. I had to pay extra for an upgrade.

We still haven’t heard from Hertz the amount we will be charged, if any. Needs contact with us.
