It was my first time driving an EV and the staff proactively upgraded my car. The guy at the pickup desk was super patient, walked me through all the buttons and controls on the new car, and even helped me download and register the local charging app.

No extra paperwork or fuss, just show up on time and you’re good to go. If you arrive too early you might have to wait a bit.

They offered extra insurance and roadside assistance, I said no and they didn’t push it or try to upsell.

They clearly had cars available and no customers waiting, but still wouldn’t let me pick up the car earlier. Really inflexible and not willing to work with you at all.

The counter was a bit hard to find, but the car itself was great and it’s actually not far from the airport exit.

The staff at the rental place were super helpful and friendly. They patiently explained how the Malaysian highways work with the EasyGo toll card, and the best part was they even lent me an EasyGo card for free. That really saved me a lot of hassle on the rest of my road trip.

Service was decent overall, though it was hard to avoid all the upselling.
