If you don't want to queue or deal with the counter staff and avoid insurance offers, Alamo has a row of self-service machines in the rental lobby. Simply input your reservation number, driver's license number, swipe your credit card for the deposit, select 'no' for the other options, and the rental document will be printed out.

The company is good, but there was a bit of confusion at the counter. They kept saying I hadn't purchased insurance along with the car rental and were urging me to buy insurance for $5 a day. I was sure I had already bought it, but in a rush, I ended up buying it. Just something to be aware of.

From the airport shuttle to the in-store service, everything was quick and convenient. The staff were friendly and there was no hard sell on extra insurance. The range of vehicles was extensive and new. I chose a DODGE SUV with only 1250 miles on it. Highly recommended rental company.

There were some minor issues at the time of pickup. The reserved Grand Cherokee was not provided; the staff mentioned that in the US, the Grand Cherokee comes with navigation, and we needed to pay to upgrade. The models offered were all compact SUVs, which did not match my reservation. After some back and forth, a staff member kindly brought us a Grand Cherokee, ensuring a smooth, safe, and comfortable trip in the US.
