At the counter, there was a dark-skinned man who looked like he might be Mexican. After verifying the documents, he asked if we wanted to buy insurance. Since we had already purchased full coverage when booking the car, we refused. He then claimed that the car we reserved was no longer available and recommended another car that would cost an additional $100 per day. We saw several Chevrolet Suburban SUVs, the type we reserved, parked in the lot, which made it clear that he was being difficult on purpose. After some arguments and taking photos of the cars in the lot, he reluctantly processed our rental.
