The company's service attitude was very good, and there were no unnecessary charges.

Alamo Car Rental is very professional. Showed the rental slip at pickup and drove off with the car in a minute. For drop-off, just handed over the keys and left. I expected some additional charges like a car wash fee, but there were no extra costs. Simple and fast.

When picking up the car, the staff tried to sell me insurance, which I declined. Then they tried to sell me prepaid full tank gas at a bit over $2.20 per gallon, claiming it was cheaper than the city. I got confused and bought it. In hindsight, it wasn't a great deal. Firstly, the tank capacity is average for that car type, which might be more or less than my actual car's capacity. Secondly, you need to use up the fuel before returning the car, which is hard to gauge, requiring frequent refueling and mileage calculations. It's more convenient to refill near the return spot. The return process was quite fast, though. An inspector checked the car's exterior, issued a return receipt, and it was done in two or three minutes. Overall, it was a good experience.

This company is very reliable. The car is new and well-equipped, and the service is excellent. No hidden charges, very satisfied! The car was a Chrysler with automatic doors and heated seats, fully loaded. Very satisfied.
