The reserved vehicle was not available on site, and there were no options in the same price range. An additional payment was required to upgrade the vehicle.

Overall, the service was pretty good, but the wait time to get the car when picking it up was too long, and the vehicle was different from the one booked. There was a need to wait for the originally reserved car, but they provided a better class car, which was nice. Returning the car was convenient and the release of the pre-authorization amount was quick. The customer service was very cooperative and responded to questions promptly.

- lots of charges added at the time of pickup. Was probably in the small print at the time of booking, but should be more clear. - car group advertised was a Jeep Cherokee - ended up with something (although in the size category) couldn't be included in the same category if car prestige was part of the criteria

- additional charges should be more clear during the booking process. I would much prefer to know all of the potential additional charges upfront at the time of booking

Like: Our car hire from Dollar was processed quickly, efficiently and customer service was excellent. We were able to pick up our car and travel to our destination with no problems.
