Arrival- we needed a van and got a Dodge SUV. We were in the car a lot and it was crowded. The car widows were messy with kid or dog prints so we are not sure it was properly cleaned during Covid times. Car only had 1/4 tank of gas, so that is how we returned it. On departure, the agent was not at the location for our scheduled drop off time or able to give us a shuttle ride back to the airport. Uber cost $27.

Would not listen to me. Insisted I didn’t prepay. Forced to pay for a tank of gas before we could get the van.

Booking was easy. Only problem was in the office

Overall experience was good. Definitely would do business again. The only problem I really experienced was 1 1/2 hr wait time for pick up. I was scheduled for 10 pm and didn’t get it until 11:30pm

It was by coincidence I just logged in cheap car rentals and this site beat all the others in pricing for the same vehicle

The van front break was very bad condition. I suspect a transmission problem since its producing a wearied noise on the lower gears.

Everything went well as expected. Good value for the money through easy car rental.

There were no SUVs even though I had paid a deposit for an SUV; they were telling everyone who was picking up their car that "only minivans" are available. The staff was beyond rude and completely unsympathetic, with a "take it or leave it" attitude. The AVR facility was nowhere near the airport and we had to take two shuttles to get to that facility from Midway. I will never rent from AVR again.
