Being unfamiliar with the place, even those who spoke English had heavy accents. After much hassle, QEEQ managed to contact the rental company, who provided an address but it was still unclear. Calling the company was frustrating—either the calls wouldn't go through or they would drop immediately. In ten attempts, only one call got through. Eventually, we had to get the taxi driver to speak directly with them to get to the company building, and even then, we spent another 20 minutes trying to locate it. Upon finally arriving upstairs, no one acknowledged us, and we had to wait an hour. Paid the 8,000 Dirham deposit, and the car was supposed to have a full tank but only had a quarter. Returning it with just over half a tank to be safe, we contacted them in advance to avoid another search, but their office was empty again. What kind of company operates like this? A private workshop? Finally handed the car back and walked away relieved. Avoid Dirent—they claim to be a large local chain, but I am not convinced.
