Overall, it was quite satisfactory. The car was relatively new with just over 10,000 kilometers on it. However, there are two points to note: first, the deposit is not a pre-authorization but a direct charge; second, when returning the car, they required me to provide photos of the damage for them to acknowledge it was pre-existing. Luckily, I had taken pictures when picking up the car, otherwise, who knows what could have happened.

If an accident happens, you'd have to deal with it yourself. With the office insurance, the rental company handles everything. It’s recommended to buy insurance at the rental office.
