The car rental company is not located at the airport. After exiting the airport, I called the company and arranged to wait at the Starbucks entrance. The staff drove over to pick me up, though the wait time was a bit long. Everything else was fine, and communication went smoothly. The vehicle pickup and inspection process at the store was quick and straightforward. For pickup, all they required were a credit card (non-UnionPay), a passport, and a driver's license translation. They didn’t even check the original driver's license, which I forgot to bring. I was initially prepared for an argument but ended up not needing it at all. For those worried about forgetting their license, there’s no need to stress. The car wasn’t provided with a full tank of gas, so just return it with the same level you received.

The car rental service was very friendly. They made coffee for us while we waited, showed us the location of the gas station when handing over the car, and even helped us connect Bluetooth.

Extremely satisfied, very polite! During the wait, they even asked if I wanted tea or coffee.

Although they replaced my car, it was still the same class. Izmir Airport branch is overall good, but the pickup location is a bit hard to find.

Experienced drivers will find driving a manual car quite enjoyable. Driving from Fethiye to Butterfly Valley wasn’t as challenging as people online mentioned. However, I recommend not using a manual car if you're taking the D400 route or heading to Cappadocia, as it can be a bit tiring.
