The rental company staff misused my credit card.

Picked up the car at Paris Lyon. The staff mentioned a network issue which caused the tablet to malfunction, and one charge couldn’t be removed. As a result, I ended up paying just over 1000 euros, including a 250-euro deposit (though the deposit showed as zero). Since the deposit wasn’t reflected, he said he would make a note of it so it would be fine when I returned the car. In a rush, I only realized after picking up the car that for my 10-day rental, they had mistakenly charged the second driver fee for 12 days. At drop-off, the inspection staff didn’t notice the note about the 250-euro deposit. I had to point it out before he went to verify it, and he told me to leave since I needed to catch my flight. I’m still waiting for an email confirmation and for the deposit refund to be processed.

Excellent service, no need to queue.

I was pleasantly surprised when picking up the car. I had rented a Renault-class hatchback, but they gave me a new Ford Focus sedan instead. Truly amazing!
