The originally booked car model in the same group did not meet my requirements, and there were no alternative options. They suggested adding some extra fees but eventually provided a Volvo XC 40 with navigation, which was very useful in the signal-less national park. Overall, I am quite satisfied.

The counter staff was a bit slow and sometimes chatted with the customers in front, but overall it was okay. Maybe it's just that Americans are more enthusiastic and can't help but start chatting?

Hertz is a big company with many locations and cars, and the cars are very new. The Los Angeles airport branch is very close to the airport, making pick-up and drop-off very convenient. Our flight was delayed by several hours, and we were worried they wouldn’t hold our reserved car. We arrived at 2 AM, and the staff was very accommodating, and we got the model we reserved. We rented a GMC YUKON XL because we had 4 adults and 2 kids. The car was new, in great condition, and very comfortable for the 5600+ kilometers we drove. The price was reasonable, just over 10,000 RMB for 17 days, and fuel cost was lower than expected, only 400 USD. We will use QEEQ again and will choose Hertz first.
