It felt okay overall, and people in Sydney seemed generally nicer than those in Melbourne. I got a free upgrade to a Mitsubishi Outlander when picking up the car, but during the inspection, I noticed a nail in the tire. They replaced it with a Nissan X-Trail instead. When returning the car, I was worried that their 8 AM opening time might be too late, so I followed the instructions at their office to return the car at the Andrew parking lot next door, only to find they charged me AUD 45. I was speechless, but the service itself was fine. In hindsight, waiting for Apex to open and returning it there would have made no difference in reaching the airport on time. I suggest choosing basic insurance and then upgrading to full coverage for AUD 349 at the car rental location—the total cost is roughly the same. PS: Roadside assistance will cost AUD 250 regardless of the situation. Parking fines are very expensive, so make sure to follow traffic rules and check the signs!

The staff member Peter was very professional during pickup. He didn't try to sell any additional products and informed us that any tolls on highways would be automatically deducted from the credit card on file, which was very convenient.

The customer service and shuttle drivers were excellent and helpful. There was some confusion on my pick up point as they were under the thought my flight was a domestic one, but they contacted me, rearranged pick up, and gave me easy, specific directions on where to meet the driver. Overall very pleased with the service.
