Thrifty made a mistake and then cheated me

Took forever to get my car at LAX. Had to change vehicles a few days into the rental, at which point LAX changed my return time in SF. But when I arrived on schedule to drop off in downtown SF, the office was closed. Apparently LAX didnt know the closing time in SF. Had to go back to SF office 7am the next morning, but Thrifty charged me an extra day and a late fee - $91.33. I followed their instructions and they charge ME money for a THIRFTY MISTAKE. I am still trying to get my refund. Will never use Thrifty again.

The paperwork process was quick, and the staff were nice. Note that the international credit card used for the vehicle deposit under the primary driver's name must match the billing address of the domestic credit card used for payment during the reservation. Even if the card has a UnionPay logo, it’s accepted. The $200 deposit was refunded to the card a month later. I wasn't satisfied with the car's condition.

There should be more detailed instructions either at the airport or on QEEQ. If I hadn't read the user reviews, I would have almost taken the wrong bus.

The car's front bumper got a little scratched when moving over a curb. We reported it to the rental company, but the African-American lady at return said she didn't see any damage. After returning the car, we caught a shuttle to the airport. Shortly after leaving, the driver got a call asking if anyone had left keys behind, and we realized our son forgot to take our house keys off the car keys. We went back to retrieve them, and we were very grateful for their help.
