Car was in much poorer condition than the vehicles we own. Fox Tampa staff is great; Fox corporate customer service awful. 2 major issues. After driving a bit, had an oil/burning smell that would not go away--seemed to have a bad tire or wheel bearing. Also, had a soft tire (took picture of air pressure screen) on pickup. Discovered next day that it wouldn't hold air after re-filling with air, because it had a nail in it. Fox Customer Service said we needed to pay because it was not reported within 6 hours. Very disappointed in their lack of appropriate service.

The staff waiting on us was great - no high pressure to upgrade or add on additional insurance. The vehicle itself was not the best - a Kia Sportage - with 60,000. The outside was pretty banged up. I’m not sure how many miles they’re kept in service - but I’m pretty sure the resale value on that one was not good.

“I stood in line for pickup for an hour, when it was my turn it took only 10 min to get my rental?”

I will never use FOX again, I stood in line for an hour, there were 3 people working, spending a lot of time with each customer? A fourth person came on just as it was my turn, it took me only 10 min to get my rental? Maybe if they spent less time trying to sell more options and get the people thru there wouldn't be a long line at busy times, never again I don't care if FOX is cheaper than the other rentals

“Best price I found”

It took almost an hour once we arrived at the airport to pick up the car. There were initially only two people working and a line out the door. I was offered a million different things I had already declined online when I booked all costing more. Even a discount on tolls which there were none of. I knew that since I had already been to the same area before but the agent didn’t tell me that. Anything for more money. However the vehicle was great as well as the return process.

“Horrible”

Waited in line for a car I reserved on line for over 2 hours and when I got up there was told fox does not have the car I ordered. Was given a van that I could not fit in because I an short. The man who helped get the keys was good and helped me get a small car which is what I ordered. I will not rent from fox again. Long time wait for a reserved car on line. Thanks.

I was very disappointed in the time I had to wait to pick up my car. I arrived at the time that I had specified when I rented the car online, as did the other people in line. There should have been more than one person on duty for the number of cars that were reserved for that time.
