They mentioned the price was similar to the market rate, so I decided not to refuel myself. I assumed it wouldn’t cost much, around 15-20 NZD at most. I also asked if I needed to sign anything for the charge, and they said no, the amount would be directly deducted from my deposit card. In the end, 90 NZD was charged. I have emailed ACE to inquire about the charging standards, and the experience was disappointing.

Overall it's okay. The process of picking up and returning the car is simple. There's a paper contract, and you just hand over the keys to return the car—no paper or electronic settlement for the customer.
