Despite repeatedly confirming at pickup that I had already purchased insurance and did not need any additional coverage, I was still charged 100 euros for so-called insurance when I returned the car. After multiple phone calls, I still haven't received a satisfactory answer. The refund process is still under verification, and I haven't received the refund yet!

There were quite a few people in line to get the car.

The service attitude was okay, but there were some minor issues with the provided vehicle. They couldn't provide the model I booked online, and the vehicle they gave me had some small problems. They said I could switch the car, but it would take a day, so I just put up with it to save time.

The car provided was far smaller than had been booked, and no alternative was available. This was positioned as an "upgrade" as it was an automatic, whereas a manual had been booked. I don't really care about the gear system, that wasn't what I asked for or booked. I asked for a car big enough to comfortably fit 4 adults and a child with luggage. This was not provided and Budget offered no apology. very disappointing.
