Overall service was excellent. Although they tried to persuade me to buy their insurance, they proceeded normally after I assured them I would take responsibility. However, I booked a Focus but was given a Polo. I feel like they should have provided a Golf instead, haha. That said, the car was very new and clean.

Although located in a remote office building, the staff's attitude was good, and both pickup and drop-off went smoothly. The explanations regarding related matters were clear, and there were no attempts to upsell insurance or other extra charges. The onsite provided a Renault CLIO station wagon. At the time of pickup, the car's onboard computer indicated that its mileage had exceeded 190,000 kilometers. The interior was not only outdated but also dirty, with a burn hole from a cigarette on the driver's seat. The top of the gear shift knob was loose and detached, the dashboard coating was peeling, and worse, the tires were severely worn and cracked, which might pose a safety risk. During driving, the air conditioning barely worked, forcing me to open the windows even on highways. Otherwise, the car felt like a sauna inside.

Car had warning lights come on almost immediately, forcing us to bring the first car back to Europecar. Both cars had extensive exterior damage (scratches, small dents, pieces broken off) that had to be documented before leaving the location. Second car was missing the cargo cover that hides contents of rear area. The counter person at Europecar used many "scare tactics" to try to persuade me to buy their insurance even though I had already bought insurance through Easyrentcars.

Lovely man at the counter, gave us a slightly bigger car than we had booked as he thought it would be easier as i had a bicycle and it was a brand nee car so was lovely. Explained the toll road process, didnt force insurance on us like some agencies have in the past. Very happy.

Unlike my previous rental experiences in Spain or elsewhere, at the ALAMO store in Porto, the rental process was self-service. This was the first time for me! It took half an hour of fumbling with the forms and asking staff for help to finally complete the rental process.

Unlike my experiences in Spain or previous rentals, at the Porto ALAMO branch, it's self-service for the rental process. It was my first time doing it! I had to figure out how to fill out the forms myself and asked the staff for help when I didn't understand something. After about half an hour of effort, I finally completed the rental process.

The car was ideal. A few dents, but to be expected. They did not try to sell excess insurance! This was a real bonus as I was expecting them to push us to buy excess, but they did not which was a real bonus. Staff were super friendly and helpful. I will use them again. The only downside was the droop off. We literally had to leave it by the side of the road outside the depot and drop the keys in a safe box. Not a problem really, but a little uncomfortable just leaving it in a public place. Otherwise, spot on.

The car is to small for my needs. Thats not the fault of CAEL or easyrentcars. Thats my fault. The location for drop off was not easily found on google maps for pick up or drop off. Calling ahead said the rental place opened at 6:30am, this was not the case and waited around until 7:30am when someone showed up. The staff was great and professional though. No complaints there.

OK Rentacar was good value, though still more expensive than last year at same time of year. Our Renault Captur wasn’t as smooth or nice to drive as other cars I’ve rented - drives like its really heavy and the gear box isn’t very easy. The car’s windscreen was dirty inside the car. There was also no screen wash which was really annoying and quite unsafe driving down the motorway, unable to wash smears off the windscreen. Attitude of counter staff was also very transactional - short and quite unfriendly.

Completely dishonest. There was a scratch on the rim, can't say for sure it was me or if it already was there, and they were going to charge me over 500 euros. It was explained to me that because the car had a sport package, I just wanted a basic cheap car, the rim was expensive. Not believing the employee I asked to see the breakdown of the cost, all of a sudden the price was 200 euros plus a bunch of hidden fees, such as a 60 euro administration fee?! well this is happening, he is talking in Portuguese to his co-worker and I can not understand what they are talking about. I really feel like I got swindled. DO NOT use - there are a lot of different car rental companies that you can use

Everything was good, but at the counter the staff could not find my reservation for a long time (approx. 10 mins), also deposit was a little higher than I expected (approx 900 EUR, I expected 500-600 EUR, but it was returned in full finally). The car was clean and in good condition.

Originally Hertz (on behalf of Thrifty) tried to give us a car much smaller than we paid for. After complaining we were given a larger car. The customer service person was very pushy with an insurance sale (an extra 120 euros we were not expecting) despite the fact we had bought insurance from you in advance. The cs person did not exlain anything to do with the car - where lights were, indicators etc as is normal. The language of the dashboard was left in German which was very confusing. A poor experience.

My wait was over a hour long. The car was not the car that I had picked. The car did not have keyless entry that i found ridiculous. No shuttle was provided from the airport or to the airport. The best thing was the price.

i booked Mercedes class A but I got MiniCooper Clubman, which was even better due to larger cargo space. Counter staff on pick up was excellent, and on return too. They both spoke fluent English, which helped a lot.

The car didn't exceed my expectations because I hired online a small SUV and when I got there the car was a small hatchback, but this could be Easyrent's fault....The staff was very good and very respectfull. The only complaint I have about Sadorent is that I paid an extra 30€ to deliver the car before the opening 4h30 a.m and the member of staff only turn up at 4h50.

I asked for a small car and that's what I got so I was okay with that and the condition of it. However i paid over £300 online with waiver insurance but then paid over £300 again for waiver insurance at turisprime complete rip off would rather crawl on my holiday than us them again. Customer ( counter) service completely stuck up we keep you open and pay your wages if customers like us don't book with you, you would be looking for new jobs. Euro car rental way better which I will be using next time and would recommend others too as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hated it, they did not accept my credit card, because "there was not my printed name on the card". Then they would not accept my AMEX. Then luckily I had a spare card with sufficient funds. I almost lost my booking and would have a no-show. This rental company did not accept free driving in Spain. The car lights of maintenance turned on.
