It showed more than 3600 in China, but at Charles de Gaulle, I was forced to pay over 7000 to pick up the car, claiming I hadn't bought insurance. In China, I was assured that no additional fees would be charged, and I could pick up the car with my order. With my plans already set, I had no choice but to pay extra. When I complained after returning to China, customer service said I had no proof of the forced charge at Charles de Gaulle and since the rental period had ended, they claimed I voluntarily paid and didn't communicate properly with the rental company, so they wouldn't process my complaint. It feels like a complete scam! If I understood French fluently, why would I rent a car from your website????? The car I eventually got wasn't even the one I reserved. Everyone, be cautious and clarify everything in advance! It's a total scam, and no one has resolved this issue until now!

The additional fees are excessively expensive. The rental cost was only 300 euros, but the navigation system was 150 euros, which is too expensive. What I was unhappy about was the difficulty in returning the car. Due to the complicated road conditions at Charles de Gaulle Airport, the navigation didn't guide us correctly to the specific return point. We first drove the car to the underground garage of Terminal 2E and took the elevator up to the 2E rental car area. We asked the staff if they could accompany us to drive the car there because it was a short walking distance but a complicated driving route. However, the staff said no and told us to follow the ground rental car signs. We had no choice but to drive out of the parking lot, which had high parking fees. The rental car signs on the ground were also not very clear, with many intersections, making us go around in circles. We couldn't find the location and had to return the car at the 2D point. Although we could return it there, it was inconvenient as we had a lot of luggage and were flying out of 2E. Fortunately, a Cantonese-speaking staff member working there heard about our difficulty and got a French colleague to drive us to 2E. It only took five minutes following them. If it weren't for this staff member, we might have missed our flight. For such a simple matter, they were unwilling to provide any help. Their service is questionable. They are probably more patient while charging fees, but once the payment is made, there is no service to talk about.

The overall service was quite good, but there were two issues during the return: 1. The address provided by you showed an error when searched on Google Maps; 2. Possibly because of my limited language skills, the navigation was too difficult, and I mistakenly thought the pickup location was the return point. Later, when handing over the keys, I showed the parking photo to the staff, who informed me that I had parked in the wrong place. After moving the car to the new location he provided, there was even a fender bender at the parking lot exit!

When picking up the car, a queue number was required followed by waiting in line. The staff's service attitude was decent, but they added insurance costs secretly without asking if it was needed. It amounted to an astonishing 2400 CNY, which was higher than the entire rental cost. They refused to issue a refund, claiming the customer had already signed the agreement. Therefore, avoid booking with this company. Seriously, do not book with this company. Additionally, if you read the contract carefully on the spot and refuse to purchase their insurance, I suspect they might find a tiny scratch upon car return and charge exorbitant repair fees. So, although their rental rates may seem low, the total cost for consumers ends up being much higher than other companies.
