Disappointing after I have used them many times. And there was an unused Fortuner left parked there.
Did not get the car I reserved. Needed the large suv. Got one much smaller.

Although I booked months in advance you did not have the SUV which I orecered because my wife needs a tall car. We had to take a very small Toyota At least you promised a 50% refund. Very good customer service. We will book next December when we visit again

Smooth and affordable rental
Great service, Car was basic (no radio/bluetooth) but that's fine for south Africa! Note- they require licenses that show an issue date of at least 3 years, which could be a limitation for Canadian licenses for example which don't show the original issue date. Nonetheless the counter staff were very helpful

All good apart from the quality of the car itself. Renault Qwid felt like a tin can on wheels.
I appreciate it sits within the ECONOMY category but the Renault Qwid is just a terrible car! I would expect this to be sitting in the lower MINI category.

A pleasure.... genuinely!
I have used all of the major hire car companies in South Africa over the past 2 years and this was my first time with Woodford. The Staff are so efficient (Justus especially)! nothing took time, no nonsense and the car was in great condition exactly as Id booked. Drop off was easy and no hidden charges or pressure to buy additional insurances. Id really recommend Woodford for car hire in Johannesburg... unbeatable!
