Car had not been checked before collection - on 2nd day of rental the engine warning light came on and on my inspection the engine coolant level was very low so had to purchase coolant to fill up the reservoir! Alamo staff knew nothing about the "$1" deposit scheme and it took a long time to convince them they should not take the full Alamo deposit! Car was OK but older than I would have expected and was quite tatty.

It was really good. I paid all the fees in advance, and when picking up the car, the staff simply asked if I needed a GPS. I told them I had Google Maps, and they said great. They even showed me to the entrance of the parking garage elevator. Overall, excellent experience! Returning the car was also very convenient!

Excellent and quick service -no queue which was a bonus after the long ,long delays in getting through passport checks. A good selection of vans to choose from . Booked full to full but changed at desk to return empty- probably cost me as you forget fuel is so cheap in USA. I also took a child seat at desk and fact I had paid for a 15 seater van with 8 passengers just felt it a bit of a rip off having to pay for just one child seat.
