Picking up the car was quick. They did try to sell me insurance, and when I mentioned I already had comprehensive insurance from home, the staff emphasized that any damage would cost me 3000 AUD. After the paperwork, they gave me the keys and directed me to the third floor to find the car. It was very convenient!

Customer service was very enthusiastic and good. However, they were quite pushy with insurance. I ended up buying an extra 100 AUD insurance at the counter.

I picked up the car in downtown Melbourne. The young man kept trying to upsell me to a hybrid Camry for nearly double the price. I told him I already drive a hybrid in my home country and that the Cruze would be fine. Despite that, he insisted on giving me the keys to experience it. Do I really seem that naive? The Cruze's condition was good, everything you need is there, and with just 40,000 km on the odometer, it still felt relatively new.

Arrived at the rental location earlier than the reserved time. The staff allowed us to pick up the car earlier, but the return time had to be adjusted accordingly. They asked if we needed insurance, and did not push further after we declined. Noticed a noticeable scratch on the car's rear upon pickup, which was then marked on the pick-up form by the staff.
