We were delayed at immigration with an interminable line! By the time we arrived at the Budget office, it was closed. After evaluating the options, I decided to hire a car for 24 hours from Avis; while I was in the Avis office, I heard another customer say that he had a Budget reservation, I asked him about it and he told me that Avis and Budget are the same company, so I was able to pick up the car I had originally reserved from the Avis counter. I was glad I did not spend the extra money on a taxi or additional rental, however a little more information would have gone a long way to relieve the stress and not make us waste another hour looking for solutions, after we had been traveling for more than 24 hours.

I had lost days on my trip, had to cover additional hotel costs. lost a meeting which i had to reschedule for September. lost days on my bookings that i paid for. How was i to drive in the rain with no windshield wipers. Was emailed a credit and no credit passed

On your booking the amount given i was charged a little more, this could have been due to exchange rate at the time. Was quoted around R26000 and billed R28000 when collected the vehicle was charged an additional R10000.

The car pickup process was very simple.

Very good. Although I rented the car late and didn't manage to get a Hertz car, the Budget car was also very nice, almost new. The paperwork was processed quickly, very satisfied!

Picking up the car was very convenient, and the car was in great condition.
