The booking page indicated free cancellation, but when plans changed and I needed to cancel, I was informed there were conditions. Why not clearly state the cancellation policy when booking?

The billing from the car rental company was completely different from what was advertised on the website. They inexplicably charged us more than three times the original price. My friend rented the same car model from Avis, which was more than half the price compared to Hertz. Also, the Hertz San Francisco Airport branch didn't have the Mustang model at all. I really don't know how your company is coordinating with them. The experience was terrible.

The car was damaged in the city, so I went to exchange it. I originally booked an L level car, but they gave me a Kia Rogue without refunding the price difference.
