Due to the inability to obtain toll and fine information in a timely manner, a pre-authorization of 940 AUD was placed for possible charges. This is understandable, but given today's advanced information technology, I think this could be improved.

We were given a car with over 30,000 kilometers on it, and both the front and rear bumpers had scratches. There was no staff who spoke Chinese, which made communication a bit difficult given our average English skills. However, their attitude was alright. When returning the car, there was a scratch, but since we had full insurance, it was OK after showing it to the store staff.

It turned out we did incur toll costs, probably a navigation issue. They pushed for various things, including a GPS rental, which was annoying. The car they gave us was an old Nissan with several tens of thousands of kilometers on it and no features. It struggled on hills and consumed a lot of fuel. They pointed out a few damaged parts on the car before we left. The parking lot was full of Corollas when we arrived, which felt intentional. It's like they gave us a bad car because we didn’t buy anything extra. I recommend buying directly at the store to avoid headaches. A few days ago, I rented a Mercedes with full insurance from the official EU website and got a free upgrade. Think about it.
