Thrifty staff are very limited, you have to figure out everything on your own. No one explains anything to you, and their attitude is very poor. The vehicle was not the model I booked, and when asked about it, nobody seemed to know.

Flexible service attitude, offering reasonable suggestions based on customer needs. Despite the late pick-up time, the service was still good and questions were answered patiently. There is no insistence on a full tank when returning the car. They refuel for you at no extra charge, which is a rare service feature.

The waiting time wasn't long, but a Thrifty employee added an unknown insurance to my rental without my consent, costing over $30 for three days. They also tried to sell us a full tank of gas. When we refused, saying we wouldn't need that much fuel, they lied, claiming we'd need a full tank to visit Haleakala National Park. In reality, our three-day trip, including the Road to Hana and Haleakala National Park, only used half a tank. This kind of irresponsible sales tactic is infuriating. The car itself was good, both in terms of performance and condition, which I was satisfied with.

Dislike: As efficient as they were, the wait was pretty unbearable. They did pass out water bottles however, which was a plus, but poor AC and tons of people waiting made for a less-than-stellar experience.
